ah, another characteristic flash of brilliance, however the style of this one is very different from your earlier work, I find myself wondering if I have been away too long to miss such a transition... the words are simpler and more clear, this time with no golden aura or poetic license to lessen the impact of that devastating scene.

this one is very difficult to read, for the crushing weight of the truth it portrays, but one which cannot be shied from for one who wishes to understand the enormity of the Imam's sacrifice, on those burning sands long ago.

it still bears the old hallmark of your words. beautiful, elegant, unbearable.

When I posted a poem today, I suddenly remembered you. Perhaps its because you were the one who greatly encouraged me to write poems on Al_Abbas (as) esp. after Tale of Loyalty & Furaat's Tears.
